In the world of advertising, a campaign is never designed for just one market. The same video can be broadcast in multiple countries, and each adaptation requires subtle but essential adjustments. License plates, product labels, billboards… all elements must be modified to match local regulations or consumer expectations.

This is where visual effects (VFX) come in, and more specifically, element replacement and integration techniques.

Behind the scenes of advertising adaptations

Behind these modifications invisible to the general public are hidden several technical approaches:

Motion Tracking & Match Moving Track a moving object to match it with a new item, such as a license plate or poster.

Image/Image Retouching (Paint & Clone) Remove and replace elements, frame by frame, for precise corrections.

Camera Projection & 3D Mapping Apply a texture or visual to a 3D surface for an ultra-realistic rendering.

3D Modeling and Rendering Recreate an element in 3D to integrate it perfectly into a scene. Ideal for product packaging or complex objects.

Dynamic Text Changes & Automation Automatically edit text using scripts and expressions in After Effects, to manage multiple versions in just a few clicks.

AI & Inpainting New tools based on artificial intelligence now make it possible to automate certain corrections without manual tracking.

These techniques are just the hidden side of post-production work. The goal is simple: a smooth and natural adaptation that goes completely unnoticed.

With several years of experience in post-production, I use my know-how to ensure precise and qualitative adaptations. Whether it is to adjust an advertisement to a specific market or to make a spot 100% international, every detail counts.
